ANSALDO VME-SSI AVMESSI is a VME bus SSI encoder interface board, designed for high-precision position feedback acquisition in industrial drive and motion control systems. It receives serial synchronous SSI data from absolute encoders and converts position information into parallel data for the VME host CPU.
This board supports multi-channel SSI encoder input, high-speed data sampling and hardware position latch function. It is widely used in heavy industry, steel mill and power plant drive control racks, commonly supplied as spare parts for old Ansaldo drive system maintenance.
